A Coastal Lifestyle
The exhibition was themed around the coastal lifestyle of Queensland's Sunshine and Moreton Bay coastal areas near  Brisbane.  It focused on the connection that people have with the flora and fauna, expressed through a variety of works including sculpture, photography and painting.

All Paintings and Photographs are copy written but can be purchased, if interested please contact me.

Canoe Tree 2009 This is a significant tree to the aboriginal heritage and has been included in the Queensland State Heritage Register. The inner scar can be seen to have been made by a chopping implement. The shape of the scar indicates that the bark of this tree could have been used by the aborigines to make a canoe. 'Spirit' This painting was inspired by a Mangrove tree I discovered on Macleay Island. The tree sits all alone in the ocean and has a special aura about it.

Dream Series 1 This series was created from dreams that I experienced while painting and documenting the Coastal Lifestyle series, and although initially wasn't going to include them in the exhibition, was convinced by friends that I should.
